Hey lovelies,

What's up?! I found a tool that has helped cut my hair drying and styling time like in half, and I couldn't be happier about it.

Now, I have pretty thin hair as it is... it's thin, but I got a lot of it. Also, it doesn't dry bone straight after a shower. If I let it jut air dry, I def get some weird waves. Could it be worse? Yes, I know it could, but I recently got the The Doubleshot from Drybar and I absolutely love it. It's a blowdryer brush. So bam, two in one! I am the absolute worse when it comes to using a round brush while blow drying. Screw that shit, now it's all built in... THANK YOU!

It's like giving yourself a blow out at home. It works so good. Now if you have thicker or curlier hair, unfortunately I don't know your fate with this tool. I'd def say give it a shot though. You got nothing to lose, because you can always just return it if it doesn't work for you.

I got my first impression from the unboxing below and showing you how it made my locks shiny silky and smooth for the most gorgeous sleek straight strands I've ever had.

xoxo,

Laura

Hi lovelies,

Putting my time while at home to feeling some sense of normalcy throughout the days. Getting ready and done up is part of my daily routine for the most part prior to our social distancing phase. Yeah, I'm not going anywhere, and some days it def feels nice not to do anything. There's some days though that I just have to do myself up to feel productive and get things done.

So I'm sharing an easy hair tutorial on creating the perfect beachy waves for our summer looks! I promise this isn't difficult to recreate for yourself. I'm using a 1" curling iron. You can use a wand, but I feel like the clamp from the curling iron helps give you a better wavy look.

Prior to styling my hair with any heat tool, I'll use a heat protectant and primer spray on my wet strands. I only do this after I shower and wash my hair... yes I'll go two to three days with each wash. This is the only product that I put into my hair prior to curling.

The tutorial will show you all the steps and I'll talk ya through it, but I'll give you a shortened description here:

1. split hair into halves

2. start from the back

3. take about 1" thick sections

4. place hair into clamp and wrap hair around rod

*Do Not roll your hair like you normally would when simply curling

5. leave about an 1" tail at the end

6. alternate the direction of the curl with each section

7. tossel to desired look

8. spritz to lock it in

I hope you enjoy and give this look a try! The video will walk you through the complete steps :)

Hi lovelies,

My most often go to style for my hair is soft glam curls. I absolutely love it when my hair has a nice curl to it. I don't have to be going anywhere at all, it just makes me feel so much more put together.

I'm using my new T3 singlepass curling iron. It's a 1". I find this size curls my hair the best. Smaller rods make it too spiral looking like goldie locks and any bigger, my curls fall out too fast. I give you both tossled looking curls and old hollywood glam curls in 1 technique. Watch for my tips and tricks.

Beach waves will be coming soon too!

Stay Safe! Stay Healthy!
