So I did a thing, and I decided to take a trip with my LarBears!

He started working again like mid June we'll say, and every week he has to travel up to Asheville, North Carolina. Seeing that I'm still off work, I figured why not tag along and get a change of scenery. And a pretty beautiful one at that!

Yes, current times it's still a little unsettling to travel, but at the same time we have to continue life. Be smart about it, and take extra precautions but enjoy yourself, ya know. For instance, I brought along my Clorox wipes, and even though the hotel had been "cleaned" I went through it all myself to feel better about it. Also, have plenty of on-the-go sanitizers with you. I have them everywhere, and immediately use them once entering the car or room.

Now I didn't get too much sight seeing in given the fact of Larry needing to work every day, all day. We also took Burly (our miniature poodle) with us. So leaving the room to go and explore was a little more difficult too. All in all, I basically worked on my computer like normal just from the hotel room instead. In the evening once Lar was off we went out to explore.

He took me to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. Which was absolutely beautiful!!! I'm not eventuate big on nature, but the mountain views. Omg, I could never get sick of! We went up to see Mt. Pisgah, and it was just unreal. There were plenty of overlooks so you could pull off to the side and scoop the mountain out along your way to the top. One of the later nights within the week he took me over to check out the "Looking Glass Waterfall." I don't really think I've ever seen a real waterfall before to be honest. It was so cool and we even were able to make our way down to the bottom to see it more up close.

The exciting sight seeing continued with our visit to The Biltmore. First, if you've never been I seriously recommend you going for a visit. The estate is absolutely stunning. Princess dreams, stunning! Ok, like it's a mansion duh, but to think about when this was built is crazy. We also, took a tour of the mansion itself. So like we got to walk through a lot of it. There was a room for everything it seemed plus some. The grounds were gorgeous, and the garden... more princess dreams come true. Now if only I could make this happen with what I'm working with lol.

Here is the complete travel vlog from our trip so you can witness first hand some of the stuff we did and got to see.

Definitely stay tuned for more couple photos from our trip. Larry actually agreed to taking pix with me for like a faux engagement shoot. We will obviously be having real shoot hopefully sometime soon within the next couple months. It's been put off longer since ya know the pandemic making everything hard, and now it's crazy hot. So for the mean time at least we captured some really beautiful moments from this past trip. If you're not already following me on IG, you should so you don't miss a post.

Continue to stay safe and healthy lovelies, but live your life to the best you can given the current times.

New bag who dis?!!!

Lovelies, I'm obsessing over this bag of mine. Okay first, yes she's a replica so you can get the thought of me spending a crazy shit ton of money outta your heads. I like to pretend I'm balla status, but let's be real I don't have that kind of money. Here's to dreaming!

This bag though! Ok come on, you can not tell me she doesn't look f'n legit. I am so so happy with this purchase and Instagram find. That's right I said Instagram. I was scrollin through watching my TikTok FYP one day, and one of the blogger babes I love to follow popped up with this baby and I knew I needed it. I checked the grams then @shopdesignerthings. It wasn't listed. So then I dm'd them and lucky enough yes they had one waiting just for me to buy and call my own.

What's the Bag?

You may be wondering, Laura what's the name of this beauty of a bag already. It's the Louis Vuitton Escale Pastel Neverfull MM (replica). This is the newest release from LV. It's part of the summer 2020 collection, and I'm so here for it. If the pastel isn't necessarily up your alley, it also comes in a blue fade or a red fade. It has the large monogram on the front, and the small monogram like the regular LV neverfull's on the back.

What's the difference between the real vs fake?

I had to do my research because I'm telling y'all this baby is legit. I own really LV's and I own plenty of look a likes, you can usually spot a dupe right off the bat. This never full tho... she's spotless! Like down to the "T" she's exactly the same. The same color. The same color scheme. The size. The same leather. The same hardware. The same everything. You name it, it's the SAME. There's even a date code under the large interior pocket. Incase you're not sure what a "date code" is, it's the authenticity tag stating where your bag was made, the week of production, and the year.

Lovelies, she even came with the mini pouchette! Now this is where I had to check closely and is the only thing I can find that throws it off from the real deal. You'll be able to see for yourselves in my full review on my youtube. The fact that it's so minor and I didn't even realized at first tho, makes it that much better.

If you got any questions you can always reach out to me here or by dm on insta. You definitely want to subscribe to become a Lovely if you haven't yet, because I may have another replica on it's way to share with y'all! So stay tuned. And if that isn't enough maybe this gifting towards the Nordstrom Anniversary sale will intrigue you to do so! There will be TWO winners, best of luck to y'all!

What can I say lovelies, this summer has and will continue to look A LOT different than most summers! This means I have way more things I'm considering an essential for the season.

My haul is live on my YT channel and I'll have it down below for you to view... there may be an exciting announcement in it! So you should probably check it out at some point.

It's summer though and it's HOT! We need to make sure we are protected when we go outside and yes I'm talking about sunscreen to protect your beautiful skin. I newly have tested out the new Tula face sunscreen and think it's great. To be honest, I'm the worst with face sunscreen. I never really use to put it on unless doing a pool day or a day at the beach... I know don't scream at me. This is a game changer though. It's not greasy or slimy feeling and bonus it has a shimmer of golden light to it, so it's like a highlighter and sunscreen in one! As for my body, I wanna talk about my go to spf bronzer. Good old Australian Gold bbyyy! I have been using this for years and love it. Now I'm talking about shorter hours out in the sun for this one. I wouldn't recommend doing a full day out at the beach without applying a more heavy duty sunscreen prior, but I also burn easily until I get a base. I like this because it helps give me some extra color while protecting my skin and I don't feel greasy after. That's a big thing for me and sunscreen!

An addition especially to my summer needs since ya know I'm engaged and got a precious sparkle baby on my finger to take care of is a silicone ring. I never thought I'd be one to wear these, but after it happening to me I completely get it. I'm probably a little extra safe with my baby, I'm so scared of ruining it and def can not lose her. So back on the topic of pool and beach days or even when it comes to working out or doing chores... I like to change out my ring. This way I know she's safe, but also I have something on my finger to make me feel good and also not lose my mind thinking I lost the real one. Also, with the being a bride to be and ya know the unfortunate pandemic going on masks are a must. Well thanks to my girl, Kenzie, I have one of the prettiest masks out there. She sent this to surprise me for our bridal shopping trips! How freakin sweet! It's just the prettiest and I love it.

Let's talk about some basic summer wardrobe pieces that should be added to your closet. Obvi shorts are in. I found the perfect short finally. Can I get an AMEN!? Seriously, I love a short, but they're always so annoying to wear. They ride up, then they're huge around your waist, your ass is hanging out... it's just not a pretty sight. Well, these AGolde's have finally made me feel super confident while wearing a short and there's no more wedgie picking. Yes, I did shell out a few more dollars than I normally would for a short, but it was worth it.

Also, y'all know I'm totally here the tie dye that's making a come back. I might be a little too hear for it lol. I'm loving everything in it. And either a crop tee or an oversized tee, ugh yes! I have been living in them.

I feel like we also need a simple versatile dress in our collection. Well this lightweight bodycon ribbed dress checks all the marks. So many colors available and under $10!!! Like insane. You make this sporty, turn it into a cover up for the beach, even wear it out for a hot date night by throwing on a sexy scrappy heel. So many ideas and it's soooo simple. Save 15% off with code: T3LOVELAURA.

There's a lot more to be shared, but trust it's way more entertaining to watch the haul! It's right here for your enjoyment and find out what that exciting announcement was ;)

Hope you all are doing ok and hanging in there. Get outside and enjoy it. It's nice to take in the simple things that we tend to over look.
