Wedding Week Getaway

I'm back, and I'm MARRIED! I can't believe that the day has come and gone. We had such a long engagement, and there was plenty of stress tied into the planning, but it's still is crazy to me. I couldn't be happier to be back though, married to my charming, and getting to share all the details with you lovelies finally.

I plan to write up an entire series focusing on all the details from the wedding. From planning to the day to the honeymoon after. It'll all be coming your way as we make our way into the new year, but to kick it off I want to tell you about our Wedding Week Getaway!

So our venue, The Mulberry, was in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Not necessarily far from Orlando, but it was still a good 2 hour drive for us so I'm considering it a mini destination wedding. We headed out Wednesday that week and stayed at the SpringHill Suites New Smyrna Beach.Y'all this hotel was amazing and helped this stressed out bride be a little more at ease. The hotel is located right on the beach first of all! It can't get any better than that. Plus, it's on the main drag where you have all the shops, restaurants, and bars to choose from.

We stayed in a deluxe king ocean view with balcony for the week, and my goodness was it wonderful! We were on the top floor looking out over the ocean. Waking up with the soothing sounds of the waves and beautiful sunrises were so calming and set the tone that the days were going to be peaceful. I feel like the room had everything. There was a: mini fridge, microwave, keurig, corner couch, desk, comfy pillows, a spacious bathroom, and sipping coffee in the mornings on the balcony quickly became one of my favorites. They even surprised us with a little congratulatory goodie basket and a bottle of wine. So sweet!

Besides our room being equipped with most everything, the care was outstanding. So friendly and accommodating! The lobby was huge and served breakfast daily. If you wanted to you could even enjoy your food out on the patio over looking the fire pits, pool, and beach. This area was super nice for lounging and enjoying the ocean breeze without getting all sandy. There also was a fully stacked bar for bevies and Starbucks coffee, so we were most definitely set morning through night.

Like I mentioned we headed out that way an extra day early so we could get situated knowing the week was going to be a long one, but one of the most amazing of our lives. Thursday was rehearsal day which started to bring on more of the anxious nerves, but everything went so lovely. Then Friday was the BIG DAY!! I couldn't had asked for better weather. Waking up to such a beautiful scene really put me at ease and there was a sense of peace and comfort that made me go into the day knowing all was going to work out exactly how it was meant to. Our wedding day was truly a fairytale and all of my dreams and desires were brought to life. More on all this to come. We decided to enjoy one last celebratory day with a brunch and beach day to follow. It was so nice being able to simply walk to and from the restaurant, hotel, and beach. The less hassle the better.

So if you're thinking about visiting New Smyrna Beach, FL whether it be a destination vacation or a mini staycation, you can't go wrong staying at the SpringHill Suites NSB. I promise you, you'll have a most enjoyable relaxing time! We most definitely will be reliving our wedding stay in months to come.

His Perfect Wedding Band

Finding his perfect wedding band has never been easier!

To be honest I wasn't sure when I was going to get to go shopping for Lar's wedding band due to his traveling work schedule. Luckily Jordan Jack made this super easy and way more possible for us to do this and together. Basically, we got to select 5 bands and they ship them out to you. So in the convince of your own home you can try them on. Knowing your size would most definitely help in this case lol. That was the only thing we struggled on with the first box.

Once you receive the bands you get to test them out and see which style is most fitting. They were so kind to actually let us choose a second box once the first was sent back to make absolutely sure Lar knew which one was for him.

Having this at home session I feel like was so nice also and it didn't add any pressure like when your in store to make a decision right away. Jordan Jack even will custom engrave the ring for free too!

For Larry it was harder because to be honest he's not much of a jewelry kinda guy, so the rings in general all felt weird to him. This is why he ended up choosing the shiny white gold. He's more of a silver guy first and also it has a very low profile, meaning it's super thin in comparison to some of the other rings that were thicker.

Now that he's decided the perfect band for him, I just need to figure out to engrave or not to engrave.

Budget Wedding Dresses

We all know weddings are crazy expensive, but I don't think we actually really really understand and realize how costly they are until you are the one planning one. Especially when it comes to wedding dresses, it is shocking how much they can be.

Well I did some hunting for either super cost efficient dresses for your magical day or for any of the bridal occasions and event leading up to your big day! These dresses are all under $200! Impressive right, I was shocked when shopping for these too.

Loving this all lace boho chic gown! The sleeves and off the shoulder is hitting just right with this one. I will recommend ordering tts... I typically size up with long sleeve items because of my long monkey arms, but this one was pretty big on me because of that.

Adorable and sweet little lace midi. Again the off the shoulder is one of my fave looks. It's such a romantic feel to it. I could totally see this for a cute bridal tea party or shower, and it's under $100. Runs tts.

Your sexy honeymoon dinner dress or if your having a simplistic beach wedding, Even a rehearsal dinner or bachelorette party look would be great for this dress! Under $80 and tts.

Now for my fave out of the bunch, this boho mermaid is everything! The open back is so sexy, and if you know how I've been shredding for the wedding then you know I'm all about showing off those hard earned muscles. The train OMG, gorgeous!! And there's a slit, like what so so dramatic, yet sweet with the all over lace. This one is a little on the higher side, but worth it and runs tts.
