Hi ya lovelies,

This whole social distancing is no joke!

It's only day 3 and I'm starting to lose it. I know we're currently not on lock down lock down, but I've been trying to do my best at distancing myself from others and it is HARD. I mean I'm such a busy body in general always on the go from here to there that this staying at home all day business is really getting to me. I'm sure plenty of you out there can agree. Luckily I have lots of ideas as for content I want to create for y'all to keep me busy, but I think it's just not leaving the house that's killing me. I've only left to take my dog on a walk lol, that's how good I've been. Surprisingly I know.

I even went to the store and purchased my own weights so I wouldn't feel guilty not going to the gym where it's prolly the absolute worst place to be when not trying to be around germs. Like we can only clean so good in a gym, and if everyone doesn't do their part (which sadly happens) then we're all screwed. So I picked some up the other day while I was at Target and they def have come in handy! I've been getting morning workout in right in the comfort of my kitchen lol. I may try to record some home fitness routines to share with y'all. Also, I got lots of makeup tutorials, some hair, and style cookbooks coming your way. So stay tune!

If you'd like to see how I spent DAY 1 on LOCK DOWN, be my guest and click below to see :)

Hi lovelies,

Recently Larry and I had a little staycation. We decided it was our turn to act like tourists in our city beautiful, Orlando.

A Quick Little Staycation

Last weekend we had a little getaway to the Wyndham Orlando Resort on International Drive. Now, if you're not familiar with idrive, this is the area that most people visiting come to. Whether it's for their hotel stay or food options, there's so many tourist offerings all along this strip. It always seems like things are changing and getting revamped in this part of town. Gotta keep it fresh for the visitors. Our resort was located near one of the newest hot spots on idrive, Icon Park! It was seriously in walking distance to this and so many other attractions.

Icon Park

I'm not kidding when I say this is one of Orlando's newest and biggest areas to hit up while on vacation. The biggest attraction you may have seen is The Wheel. A 400' tall ferris wheel! Crazy right. Neither Larry or I had ever done it until this trip, and oh my goodness it was so cool. We were shootin to hit sunset, but we missed it by like 20 minutes lol. Even though it was night we could still see a decent amount of things... and the lights! OMG they were beautiful! The Wheel it's self moves super slow, so you can't even feel yourself going around, you just see yourself getting higher and it takes about 20 mins to complete.

Besides The Wheel they have a ton of other offerings too. Lots of restaurants and a few bars for that nightlife scene. There's also a couple souvenir shops and another large attraction... the StarFlyer. This one we did not have the courage of doing. It's a 400' tall swing. Umm, no thank you lol.

We did hit up a few of the restaurants though such as: Uncle Julios, Tin Roof, Yard House, and Shake Shack. Guys, everything was delicious. Uncle Julios was dinner the first night. We had a few margaritas and mexican to kick off our staycation. It's a little on the pricier side, but very good. They don't mess around with a mean margarita! The next morning we did a little Sunday brunchin' at Yard House, and holy smokes this was delicious!!! I got bread pudding french toast with berries and bacon. It had a side of maple cream sauce that was amazing. I ate the hole thing lol Larry was very impressed. Also, we got bottomless mimosas and the passion fruit, oh my soooo good. And if your'e looking for a good easy burger and a good price, Shake Shack is where it's at! Nice and charded up on the outside, but so juicy on the inside, yum!

We had a fun time exploring other places along idrive too, like Ripley's Believe It Or Not and Mango's. This was all things that we hadn't done yet just with living here we never really think to go do stuff like this, but we had a really good time.

The Resort

I never knew that the Wyndham Orlando International Drive was so large. It's been there for years, but I had never needed to book a stay there, so I'm grateful that this staycation came up for us to check it out. At the time of checkin it was a little crazy. They were hosting not only one, but three conventions. Crazy right. It just made it a little difficult finding where the lobby was and also parking was hard that first night. We had a premium king room, and it was pretty spacious. Very basic and simple, but that sometimes make the room feel nicer because it's more open. Our room had a sliding door out to a little patio that led to the courtyard. The little walking paths between buildings was pretty dressed with tropical plants and trees. The resort has two pools, and the one is quite large. There's also a hot tub, but in 90 degree weather who is sitting in that. They also have a nice little restaurant pool bar. Gatorville had offerings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You're prolly thinking who want's to workout on vacation, but for me that's a biggy and the gym facility was so nice. Lots of machines so no one would have to feel like it's too crowded and skip their workout.

The resort over all was nice and quite convenient for guests staying in the area to explore the Orlando attractions. I will say that it is on the older side, but when visiting Orlando how much are you really in the room anyways ya know. The Wyndham is located smack dab in the middle of both major theme parks, Universal Studios and Walt Disney World. Also, Sea World is near and everything along idrive is seriously within walking distance. If you're looking for a place that fits this then the Wyndham Orlando International Drive is a great hotel stay for you.

You can save 20% off your booking for your stay at the resort through HERE!

I hope you all enjoyed hearing about Larry and I's recent staycation as much as we enjoyed it! Make sure to take advantage of this special promo for your next vacation to Orlando.

They were kind enough to send me some gorgeous bridal shower and wedding invitations, and holy cow are these wonderful. I haven't really done too much shopping in this category, but honestly when I opened these invitations I was very impressed. Creating and designing the invites were so fun too and a little overwhelming at the same time. There were so many choices to choose from and then from there all the elements were customizable! I got a little involved when designing mine, and had to remind myself this wasn't reality at the moment lol. There's almost an unlimited color selection for everything, free wedding websites, custom samples, and they offer "Seal & Sends" invites. And being the ultimate girly girl that I am, I thought their Breakfast at Tiffany bridal shower invitations added the perfect touch! I mean what girl doesn't love everything about Tiffany's, so to make this you shower invite would be the ultimate class act.

SEAL & SENDS

What's extra special about the "Seal & Sends" is that guest's addresses are printed on the front of each invitation which means no envelope is necessary! All you have to do is share a link, collect guest addresses, and upload them onto your design, instantly. Once you receive your order all you have to do is add postage, fold the invites, and secure them with a sticker! Simple, easy, and super trendy.

CUSTOM TO PERFECTION

Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation! This way you can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order. There's almost unlimited color options with instant previews online too. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options. So, you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it! The envelopes are just as colorful as the invitations. You can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to envelopes so you can make your invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of Basic Invite's envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed...without that awful taste leaving you with a raw tongue. Each of the wedding invitations is part of a set. You can find everything from save the dates to wedding invitations and enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs and even matching thank you cards!

WEDDING WEBSITE

Also, Basic Invite offers all-new wedding websites which are completely customizable just like their wedding invitations! The wedding websites are mobile friendly and super easy to use. Instantly upload all of your wedding details, along with images, and a map with directions... which is super convenient for your guests. Even have your guest RSVP through your wedding website, it's that easy!

Again, not that I know a lot about the wedding planning needs but to me Basic Invite seems to be an amazing option to look into when it come to your invites and websites! The quality is outstanding. There are different varieties when it comes to your paper selection too, but even the standard is super nice. I got a mix to test and feel them out for myself. I personally love the smooth coated for feel, but the shimmer is so so pretty too! Take a peak for yourselves. They have a wide variety of invites for all occasions, I'm just focusing on the wedding offerings.

Come on LarBear, take a hint ;)
