How many of you have pieces of clothing that you love, but sometimes get stuck in a rut with how to style them in different ways?
I know I've been there before, and still have trouble at times.
Today's post is going to be mainly about taking one piece, i.e. the ruffle sweater, and transforming another look with it. If you caught my post about "Dressing up your Sweater" then you've already seen this top and how I styled it prior with the pink suede skirt. Well, to give it more of a casual vibe that could be worn out for brunch, or maybe a lunch/dinner date that you wanna look nice and dressed up for, but not over the top... this is a great example. I toned it down by replacing the skirt with jeans, and to still keep it dressed up I wore a tall boot. Also, switching out your accessories is one of the biggest game changers! Here I've kept it simple with some arm candy (always) and some little studs. If you want more of a statement look go for some dangling chandelier earrings or a chunky necklace.
To be honest I've been wearing this sweater on repeat the season! I mean the little cut out shoulder with ruffle detail, I'm done! Plus I've been in love with this color since fall time. I've been buying so much of it, that my closet is all berry toned lol. Unfortunately I think this particular one is sold out, but there's another style (linked HERE) with the cut out at the elbows.
Also, for those Bendel Girls out there like me... it's the Semi Annual Sale going on right now! So many nice pieces and handbags that are marked down 50%-60%! Including my ultimate go to Miss Bendel Petal Bangle!
I've def been doing some damage shopping this sale, oopies ;)
